Webinar: Exploring Ecosystems for Social Innovation in Europe
29/06/2015 @ 17:00 - 18:00
On the 29th June, 5pm CET, Transition and SIE invite you to join us for a webinar discussing how we can develop a more holistic and joined up system of support for social innovation in Europe. How does this ecosystem look like in real life? And what are the various roles that different actors, such as funders, business, academia, government, hub, labs and incubators play to make this happen?
We draw upon insights from the Social Innovation Europe event in Berlin (22-23 June), which focuses on exploring ecosystems for social innovation to create capacity for systemic change in Europe.
Louise Pulford (Social Innovation Exchange) and Ryan Little (BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt) will start the discussion by sharing some of their key takeaways from their own work in this field. This will be followed by a discussion where we want to hear how you are approaching this challenge in your own work. This will be an interactive session, and we invite you all to come prepared to share your own experiences and suggestions for collaborative efforts in developing a stronger ecosystem for social innovation in Europe.
You will also have the opportunity to hear more about ESIIN and what it has got to offer you. ESIIN is European Commission funded network for social innovation incubators, launched in Rome earlier this month.
